While our viewing habits are changing in our connected and on-demand world the commercial marine world in particular are very much aware of the value of leveraging TVRO as a cost-effective to deliver crew-welfare and passanger entertainment throughout the vessel without the need to pay additionally for the data costs to receive the content from the broadcasters of choice.
We specialise in Ku-band satellite TV reception for regional vessels such as ferries and workboats operating in UK & Europe.

TVRO Antenna
The critical link between the vessel and the satellte 22,000km above the equator - dish must remain pointing at the satellite in all weathers and vessel movements in order for TV pictures to be received below.

Distribution
The heart and lungs of a TVRO solution; bringing the IF (intermediate frequency) signals from the antenna decoding (or transcoding) them into TV channels for TV viewing.
Upgrading vessel legacy analogue UHF distribution systems to DVB-T modulated channels provides significant benefits in terms of video quailty as well as potential for increased channel support; we have carried out a number of such upgrades for cross-channel ferries and survey vessels.
