STARLINK - INSTALLER

Burmarc is UK's first official Starlink Installer focused on Marine & Maritime applications

Starlink High Performance Maritime

Starlink is a massive disruptor in the satcom industry providing fast internet speeds including low latency and near-worldwide coverage. Low cost hardware and low price per GB (gigabyte) make this a superb additional link for crew welfare and high demand applications. Complimentary technology for cellular when near shore, or VSAT offshre and blue water use.  We have also combined multiple Starlink antennas for additional bandwidth, or shadow mitigation, or even different subscription profile handover.

Using satellites that pass overhead there is significantly lower chance of prolonged periods of outage from blockage on a particular passage heading.

Size

From a 37cm H30 to the 1m H90 there is a dome size that is appropriate for most sea-going vessels & platforms

Speed

The larger the dish the faster the maximum speed available over satellite link (other services are the same irrespective of size) so if offshore speed is critical consider the larger H60 or H90.

Cost

There is of course a price difference in the hardware (and potentially installation) for these products.
